Our Founders

Carla Heiser, the founder of Triada Institute

Carla Heiser


Carla is an Advanced Practice Nutritionist, board-certified in Nutrition and metabolic Medicine, and co-owns a precision medical nutrition practice. Ms. Heiser has vital academic and research training. Incorporating science-driven approaches into practical strategies to optimize health is the hallmark of her expertise. She has over 25 years of experience as a volunteer managing director in the 501(c)3 arena, serving children and families in developing countries.

Lori Varas, The founder of Triada Institute

Lori Varas


Lori has a chemistry background and has managed large civil engineering projects, including remediating environmental contamination to improve soil, water, and air quality. She co-founded Wholistic Nutrition, a functional medicine practice and coaching school. Her tenure also includes nutrition and lifestyle education. She created a child gardening program providing tower gardens throughout the Indianapolis area. In 2022, Lori joined Carla to further health in their private practice and to become a resource to elevate child, family, and community health.

Vincent Williams

Vincent Williams is a founder, strategist, and community builder committed to creating spaces where people grow, connect, and thrive. With a background in nonprofit and faith-based leadership, marketing, and communications, Vincent has led organizations that mobilize communities, strengthen partnerships, and drive meaningful impact.


He is the founder of Stillwell, a hospitality and wellness group focused on building community-centered experiences. Vincent also serves as the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Zoi Arts, a Chicago-based arts education nonprofit dedicated to cultivating creativity, confidence, and access for all people.


Alexandra Kegler, the founder of Triada Institute

Alexandra Suazo

Alexandra, a management consultant with expertise in healthcare and life sciences, is a champion for health education and equity in resourcing to support healthy lifestyles.

She has worked with both non-profits and for-profits to continually address the most significant trends in healthcare. 


She is committed to personal health and wellness in her own life and is determined to be part of the solution in bringing better health outcomes through nutrition, fitness, and health education.
